Meet the staff of HRSportFit.com!

The staff at HRSportFit.com has over thirty years of experience as leaders in the fields of sports medicine, sports performance, and fitness.

Chris Ullom, ATC, CSCS

Chris has been a Certified Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) since 1997 and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) since 2001. He received his bachelors degree in Sports Medicine from Old Dominion University in 1994 and his Master's in Physcial Education from Radford University in 1997. He currently serves as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the US Women's National Field Hockey Team and provides personal training services at Wareing's Gym in Virginia Beach. He has previously worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer at Kellam HS, Nanesmond River HS, and most recently First Colonial HS. In addition, he has over eight years experience working in physical therapy and was the owner/operator of Atlantic Sports Performance.

Ben Dickerson, CSCS 

Ben has been in the fitness industry professionally for the past five years, working as a manager at Wareing's Gym.  Prior to working at Wareing's, Ben played collegiate baseball at Christopher Newport University, where he learned the benefit of hard work and and a dedicated training ethic.   After transferring to Old Dominion University he received his bachelors degree in Exercise Science in 2006, during which he interned under Chris Ullom with the United States Women's Field Hockey team.  Upon the completion of his  degree, Ben became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and has used it to train a wide variety of people from young athletes to fitness minded housewives.  Dedicated to instilling an active lifestyle in people of all walks of life, Ben continually works to progress his fitness programming through constant manipulation.   

Todd Williams, CSCS, USAW

With over 10 years of experience in the sports industry, Todd has been directly involved with the design and implementation of performance training protocols working with a wide range of clients from adolescent to professional athletes.  Over the years, Todd has prepared athletes for and worked with athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, USL, USOC, USET, WNBA, WPGA, as well as many NCAA sports from universities all over the country.  To complement the athletes training, he also advised athletes in the area of nutrition depending on their goals and current body composition.  Todd is a Hampton Roads native who attended Cox High school before receiving his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Old Dominion University.  He has trained athletes and held directorships at state-of-the-art sports performance training facilities in both the Hampton Roads and San Francisco Bay area.  Todd is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist accredited by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as a USA Weightlifting Certified Club Coach, a Nike SPARQ Certified Trainer, and has coached extensively in speed, agility, endurance sport training.
